Here’s Our Version of “Planking”

While the jury is still out on the whole rhyme and reason behind the global phenomenon known as “planking”, we thought we’d contribute to the internet meme by submitting something that naturally assumes that position on the grill all the time: our tortillas hechas a mano (or “handmade tortillas”).

Whenever Soho Taco prepares these delicacies at our gourmet taco cart catering events, we first smoosh the masa flat as a plank and then plop them facedown onto the plancha until they’re golden brown on the outside. 

So, there’s no need to risk human life nor limb when it comes to planking here at headquarters.  Our freshly-made tortillas are already doing the job for us! 😉
