With 235 Toyota employees ready to celebrate, we rolled in with four taco carts, vibrant culinary cauldrons brimming with sunshine and spices. Eight skilled cooks, artists of flame and flavor, transformed our signature SOHO Package into a delectable midday fiesta. Juicy Pollo Asado, marinated in a symphony of Mexican herbs, and melt-in-your-mouth Carne Asada, kissed by the flames, took center stage on warm tortillas. Each bite, a miniature fiesta within Orange County’s bustling hub, fueled conversations and ignited smiles.
But a taco’s journey never walks alone. Fluffy Spanish rice and creamy refried beans, warm embraces from south of the border, provided the perfect companions. And to quench the midday thirst, ocho aguas frescas – watermelon’s blushing blush, pineapple’s golden tango, horchata’s creamy waltz, and strawberry’s playful jig – offered their sweet and refreshing respite.
Dessert wasn’t an afterthought, it was a triumphant finale. Sixty strawberry cheesecakes, their creamy hearts nestled within buttery crusts, and sixty dulce de leche dreams, each bite a decadent ode to childhood indulgence, disappeared with remarkable speed – a testament to the joy that simple pleasures, crafted with care, can bring.
